Itinerary
8:40 meeting in Tbilisi, at Roses Square (in front of the Radisson SAS Iveria hotel). 9:30 - 1st stop at JINVALI hydro-electric power station. grate panoramic view. 10:00 - 2nd stop and visit The Ananuri Castle, 1 hour Excursion. Ananuri is a Complex of XIV ac. with high fence of the fortress, with Towers (XV ac), with two churches (XVI-XVII ). 3rd stop at 12:30 pm- Cross Pass (2379 m. ). the Road from Tbilisi to the pass & to kazbegi was General Road from 1830 witch was named "Georgian Military Highway" on time USSR. at 13:00 Lunch - picnic at Tergi river gorge. 14:00 group starts walking from village Gergeti To Gergeti Trinity Church - 1 hours UP, 40 minutes excursion & 45 minutes down to village Gergeti. 17:00 visit the Dariali rocky canyon and new monastery complex near Georgian-Russian border. than go back to Stephatsminda town and at 18:00 - visit the Sno Castle. 18:20 Drive back to Tbilisi.
