Itinerary
Day I
7:30am meet with tourists in Tbilisi, at Roses Square (in front of the Radisson SAS Iveria hotel). drive by Minibus to Phshavi district.
09:20 - Breakfast to the Aragvi river Gorge. picnic.
10:50 Drive to village Chargali (15 minutes) and visit the House Museum of great Georgian Poet Vaja-Fshavela.
12:00 - 14:00 pm road from Chargali to Datvis Jvari pass. Lunch at one of the picturesque places of Khevsureti - Datvis Jvari pass. after lunch 1 hour drive to village kistani and at 16:00 visit the Kistani Castles. Here we have 1:30 hours hiking to the towers and back. there are two castles-towers of XVII ac.
17:30 -17:30 road to Shatili.
17:30 accommodation in Guest house. time for rest and after 1 hour take a excursion in Shatili. Shatili is the Village fortress of XIV-XVI centuries ac. There are more than 60 Living Towers.
Day II
08:30 am Breakfast in Guest house. 09:30 start a tour and 25 minutes Drive to Anatori and visit the Crypt of XVII century. at 10:20 1 hours drive to Mutso. 1:30 hours hiking to Mutso and back. Mutso is XIV - XVI centuries fortress built on steep rocks. The fortress and Shatili were 1st forts on Georgian - North Caucasian border.
13:10 drive back to Shatili. 14:00 lunch. 15:00-20:00 drive to Tbilisi.
